Rent a Hamster
It may be good business to sell a dozen hamsters in a week but we don’t want people to buy pets on a whim. With the hamster loan scheme a parent can be certain that their child really will care for the pet on a daily basis before committing themselves and the pet to a life of possible neglect. Hamsters are rented for one week only, after which the pet will come back to the shop to be thoroughly checked. Cost is £5 for the week, which includes a complete cage, bedding, food, disinfectant, a book and, of course, one of our beautiful "rent-a-" hamsters.
We currently have two hamsters that we use for loan.

(Baby is currently on sick leave but we hope she will be back soon)
All
our hamsters are retired from active duty at 18 months old
They are then well cared for by people who love them.
